So, I wanted to capture that feeling of old Hollywood, of rain slicked streets, brightly lit skyscrapers at night and danger just around the corner, and here's my attempt at a film noir tag. I had a lot of fun making it and was pleased with the results. I hope you will be too.

Here's my Christmas/Winter tag for 2010. It's actually a redo because my good friend, Layla, ordered one with the same theme last year, and when I went to tag her, I realized I'd deleted the master copy. Oops! This came about as the result of a challenge, but what can I say? I lurve my state, dude. Olvera Street, the Huntington Gardens, Black Flag, The Doors, Linkin Park, Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, beautiful beaches, medical pot, Liberal views, 7 generations of Californians in the family leading back to the conquistadors. It's in my blood. Nuff said.

So, I have 15 new tags, and this is the first of 'em.
For some reason, last month I really got into a thing where I listened to a lot of the old punk from my teen years. Comfort music, maybe? And also maybe feeling a little angry about offline stuff? One of my best friends died of cancer, and last month my godmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. So, out came all the old punk albums, and one of my favorites, Social Distortion's "Mommy's Little Monster", got played A LOT. It inspired this tag as a matter o'fact, so there. ;-P

So people, is it just me or are there WAY too many stupid people out there taking up perfectly good oxygen that the rest of us could use? Reception and live chat are two of several things I do at my job. Well, I just spent 20 minutes in live chat trying to help someone who couldn't log into her account only to have her finally tell me she thought we were another company. Oops! I see a Darwin Award in this woman's future or a Bill Engvall sign at the very least. I'm amazed she has been able to make it through life as long as she has. Somewhere a village in Dumbfuckistan is missing its ijit for sure.

October Is Here!
Been awhile since I added any new tags to this blog. Sorry about that.
It's been a crazy time. My work hours have gotten longer, and the list of people I call my friends has gotten shorter.
Unfortunately, I lost a very good friend to cancer 3 days ago. Like many of the people who visit this blog, she was a tagger. In fact, I kind of bugged her to get into it. She used to make themes for Delphiforums. She was so good at that I told her she had to try her hand at tagging. She did, and it came natural to her. She was one of the most creative people I ever knew.
One of the many things I will miss about her is that we won't get to tag together anymore. It was such a wonderful process. We had so much fun, and we always encouraged each other. There was never any pettiness or competitiveness like there sometimes can be. It was just two friends inspiring each other and urging each other on. As far as tag partnerships go, it didn't get much better.
Goodbye, my friend. I will miss you. I will never forget you.

Tag: Rat In A Cage (animated & static)
There are two versions of this tag. The animated version has several frames and is a much bigger file, but I like the way it came out. It's one of my favorite tags to date. The static one works too. :-)
